Our take
Callaway's Opus wedge feels fantastic out of the box. The brushed chrome looks clean, and the 56° loft with 12.5° bounce is a solid all-around sand wedge setup. The W Grind gives me confidence from both bunkers and tight lies. The steel shaft (DG Mid 115) provides a stable, predictable feel. I wish the grip was a bit more premium, but it's fine. Performance-wise, spin control is excellent. At this price, it's a worthy addition for anyone wanting a reliable sand wedge that can handle a variety of shots without breaking the bank.
